Contoh Announcement 1

Materi percakapan yang dilakukan oleh dua orang menggunakan Bahasa Inggris kali ini adalah tentang kegiatan sehari-hari (Daily Activities) yang sering anda lakukan. berikut dibawah ini contohnya.Percakapan bahasa Inggris sehari-hari ini adalah materi speaking dasar yang meliputi dialog antara 2 atau 3 orang dengan topik pembicaraan sehari hari yang sering kita gunakan dalam pergaulan antar teman, anatar anggota keluaraga, bertemu dengan orang baru, dan sesekali cara membuat janji untuk mengunjungi orang tertentu.
Karena dalam ketagori percakapan dasar, materi dialognyapun hanya meliputi hal-hal umum yang paling sering kita lakukan, seperti:

• Greeting (cara mengucapkan salam)
• Introduction (dialog perkenalan)
• Profession (percakapan tentang pekerjaan)
• Hobby (dialog tentang hobby)
• Daily activity (percakapan tentang aktivitas sehari-hari)
• Family (percakapan tentang anggota keluarga)
• Appointment ( percakapan membuat janji untuk bertemu)

Perlu diketahui, pembagian topik seperti diatas tidak mesti tiap topik hanya berlaku pada topik itu sendiri, misal materi greeting, akan sulit sekali menghindarinya meski topik pembicaanya macam-macam. Hal ini terjadi karena kebiasaan orang Inggris yang suka mengucapkan salam.

Mike: Hi. How are you?

Percakapan Bahasa Inggris: Introducing Others
Cara berkenalan dan memperkenalkan orang lain menjadi topik dasar materi speaking yang sering  dipelajari. Materi memeprkenalkan orang lain sering beruap percakapan antara 3 orang. Berikut contoh singkat nya!
Tania: Hello, Jeff. How are you doing?
Jim: This is Tony and Robert. They’re twins. And this is Stephen. He’s a farmer.
Tania: Hello there. Morning, Stephen. I’m pleased to meet you.
Stephen: Hello Tania. Nice to meet you too
Jim: Lewis is my eldest brother.
Tania: Hi, Lewis.
Jim: And Pete and Herbert are also my brothers.
Tania: Hello, Pete. Hi, Herbert. Wow! I can’t believe you’ve got so many brothers and sisters!
Jim: Yes, I love it. We all get on really well. Do you have any brothers or sisters?
Tania: No, I don’t. I’m an only child.
Percakapan Bahasa Inggris: Talking about Profession
Percakapan tentang professi menjadi materi dasar speaking. Cara bertanya pekerjaan dan menjawabnya sering kita jumpai dalam berkenalan dengan orang lain.
Yousi: What do you do, Mike?
Mike: I’m a university professor. In addition to teaching, I do a lot of research.
Yousi: Do you go to university every day?
Mike: No, I do not go to university every day. I go to university three times a week
Yousi: How do you go to university?
Mike: I can drive.
Yousi: Do you drive alone?
Mike: Yes, I drive a 2010 Lexus. I really like all the features it has.
Yousi: Do you like your job?
Mike: Yes, I like my job. Teaching is a very important job.
Percakapan Bahasa Inggris: Hobby
Percakapan tentang hobby menjadi materi dasar dalam speaking disamping topik profesi. Hobby sering berkaitan dengan percakapan topik waktu luang (leisure time). Perlu diketahui, untuk bisa melakukan dialog tentang hobby ini, kita musti menguasai penggunaan Gerund (bentuk Verb-ing untuk merubah kata kerja menjadi kata benda). Brikut contoh singkatnya!
Yuwi: What do you do in leisure time?
Mike: I play chess. I’m a good chess player.
Yuwi: how often do you play chess?
Mike: I do it once a month.
Yuwi: do you like fishing?
Mike: Yes, I really do. Do you?
Yuwi: I like too.
Mike: We are on the same wavelength.
Yuwi: I often go to a lake near my house and spending much time waiting the fish

Dialog bahasa Inggri dengan topik kegiatan sehari hari ini berkaitan dengan topik menyatakan dan dan menjawab tentang hobby dan profession. Percakapan sehari-hari tentang kegiatan rutin ini  merupakan materi speaking yang paling sering dipelajari diantara topik yang lain. Berikut contoh singkat dialog kegiatan sehari-hari

Riko: What do you do in your daily activity
Dino: I’m a university professor. In addition to teaching, I do a lot of research.

Dino: I read novels and history books whenever I have time.
Riko: what kind of novel do you like most?
Dino: I like the Chinese fiction “Dream of Red Mansions”.

Dino: Yes, I have.

Riko: Can I borrow it?
Dino: Certainly!

Perckapan Bahasa Inggris: Family
Materi percakapan 2 atau 3 orang dengan topik keluaraga selalu menjadi perhatian utama, mengingat bahasan keluaraga adalah topik terdekat dengan diri pembicara. Hal ini dimaksudkan untuk lebih menggali keingan berbicara dalam bahasa Inggris. Percakapan tentang keluarga sering berkaitan dengan materi perkenalan diri dan cara memperkenalkan orang lain dalam bahasa Inggris. Berikut contohnya!
Situation: Tania meets Jim at the supermarket. Jim is with his brothers and sisters
Jim: Good morning, Tania. How are you?
Tania: Fine thanks. How about you?
Jim: Oh, I’m not too bad. I’ve got a sore throat and my leg hurts, but apart from that I’m fine.
Tania: Who are all these people?
Jim: Haven’t you met my family? I’ll introduce you to my sisters first.
Tania: OK.
Jim: This is Sally.
Tania: Hello, Sally.
Jim: And this is May.
Tania: Hello, May.
Jim: This is my youngest sister Tina.
Tania: Hi, Tina. Nice to meet you.
Jim: And this is Susan.
Tania: Oh, hi Susan.
Jim: My other sisters Melanie, Jane and Dottie are on holiday at the moment, and Lottie and Isobel are away at college so I can’t introduce you to them.

Tania: No, I haven’t.
Jim: I’ll introduce you to them. Some of them are at work at the moment, but most of them are here. This is Jeff. He’s a bus driver.
Percakapan Bahasa Inggris: Appointment
Membuat janji dengan bahasa Inggris adalah materi “appoitment”. Sebenaranya dialog membuat janji ini mulai masuk kategory entermediate meski begitu dalam kesempatan ini tetap diberikan contohnya mengingant betapa sering topik janji ini dilakukan ketika berdialog dan berbicara bahasa Inggri. Berikut adalah contohnya!
Situation: Claire works as a receptionist at Bradley Dental Practice. Jeff is the patient. He phones up to make an appointment
Claire: Good afternoon, Bradley Dental Practice. How may I help you?
Jeff: Oh, hello. I’d like to make an appointment to see the dentist.
Claire: Which dentist do you usually see?
Jeff: Er, Mr Forrester.
Claire: Let’s see. (Pause) Are you in any pain at all?
Jeff: No. It’s just for a check up, I think.
Claire: When would you be able to come in?
Jeff: Er, any time really.
Claire: What about Tuesday afternoon, at twelve forty five?
Jeff: Yes, that’s fine. Er, wait a minute. I’m going to see my cousin in Manchester on Tuesday. It’s his birthday. He’s going to be fifty. Have you got anything on Wednesday?
Claire: I’ll check for you. (Pause) Wednesday at half past eight in the morning.
Jeff: That’ll be OK. It’s a bit early though. Can you make it later – about ten o’clock?
Claire: I’ve got twenty to eleven on Wednesday morning?
Jeff: Yeah. That’ll be great. OK, yes.
Claire: So we’ll see you on Wednesday at ten forty then.
Jeff: Yes. Thanks then.
Claire: Bye.
Percakapan bahasa Inggris hanya bisa sukse jika memang dilakukan sehari hari. Percakapan adalah skill speaking, sehingga tanpa praktek, tidak mungkin kemampuan berbicara bahasa Inggris kita bakal meningkat. Sebanyak apapun materi percakapan atau dialaog veri 2 orang atau 3 orang tidak akan menhasilkan apa-apa kalau tidak dilakukan. So  act now! Speak English!

Good morning everyone. Let me introduce myself in a short time. I am Muhammad Andika and you can call me Dika. I was born in Jakarta, June 21^st 1995. It means that I’m seventeen years old right now. I moved from Jakarta to this great city because my father has some jobs that must be done. Here, I live at Jl. Untung Suropati, Jasaraya. My house actually is not far from this school and you are only to ride for about 100 m to the east.

I have a nice hobby and that is writing and blogging. I get money from internet especially through blogging. I have a nice blog that provide information of Technology, newest gadget, and many more. You can visit the Techjourney.Com to see my articles.

In my house, I live with my parents named Mr. and Mrs. Wibawa. Both of them work as entrepreneur. My father manages his futsal shoes business while my mother is managing her Batik dress business. I love them very much and I’m actually five brothers. I have two elder sisters and two younger brothers. My first sister is 22 years old named Andina Rizki and now she has been a student of Indonesian University especially for English Literature.  Next to my second sister who has been 20 years old named Andien Aulia and she is studying at Gajah Mada University especially for Psychology. I think, I will not tell more about my brothers because it consumes time too much.

Good morning my dear friends. Allow me to introduce myself for a couple of minutes. My complete name is Indra Herwawan and my nickname is Hendra. So you can call me by Hendra not Hermawan. I was born in Bandung, June 21^st 1994. It was a long time and about eighteen years ago right?

I’m a very new person here because I just moved from Bandung to this capital city two days ago. When the first time live in Jakarta, I feel very hot but it has been a normal condition for me right now. In Bandung, I had a unique hobby that was speedcubing. It was a brain to play the Rubik’s cube faster and faster. Below is the picture of Rubik’s cube.

I also spend my time to play football and listening to the music when I get bored at home. But, when I live in Jakarta, I even have no idea to play football with my friends. Because, here I am a stranger and haven’t got friend yet. I live in Jl Kepulauan raya, West Jakarta. It’s approximately five kilometers from this school and I come here by bus.

In my house, I live with my parents and my twin sisters called Andin and Andina. My parents are Mr. Darmawan Sahreza and Mrs. Maia Sahreza. My father works as an engineer in one of the big company in Jakarta, while my mother works as an accountant in insurance company. My younger sisters are 5^th grade of elementary school and both of them are ten years old.
